There are rentals walking distance from the stairs that take you right down to the beach to launch. There is also great fishing and diving here along the rugged coastline. If you're planning a wedding, consider Shell Beach's many gazebos right on the cliffs.
Climate
Shell Beach's weather is usually warm and sunny, with occasional fog until the sun comes through, usually by noon. Evenings are very mild, usually not cold, perfect for enjoying a walk on the many little beaches to choose from! Summer average temperatures are 73º high and low 53º low. Daytime temperatures can climb into the 80’s on a sunny and clear day year round. In other words, it's beautiful all year!
